She swallowed the lump in her throat and stared into the blue of his eyes, hating the fact that being this close to him caused her heart to thump wildly in her chest. He was so warm, his hand on her back like a branding iron and the look in his eyes... She blinked and focused on anything but the need she saw in his eyes. But looking at his lips was a bigger mistake. She remembered the way they felt against her own.
